This tune started as chords on the piano. The kids were playing in the living room, and I was upstairs when this popped into my head.
Another happy accident in the home.
Downstairs I ran, to start the computer. While I wait for Microsoft to load, i tried the same chords on a string instrument. You have to change a few things, or switch one thing with another. etc. etc.. Not everything moves 100% from one instrument to another without some concession IMO. Eventually, I found a chord instrument and started finding the rhythm of it. I only heard the shapes at first. This is a tune of trial and error, but there is so much I know I put into this, that I am super stoked with where it ended up.
The piano sounds need some love. Hopefully soon, I can find a way to improve those. This tune was started before the JT drums, so it does not include them at this time.
I am still not please or 100% satisfied with the end result. There is still much that I am proud of, and happy with how things turned out. Further progress!
